The cold front we’ve been anticipating has finally moved in leaving behind some flooded roads, especially in northeastern Broward County where over 6” of rain fell overnight. Although drier air is now filtering in there’s still a chance for a few showers moving through with blustery northeasterly winds bringing some residual moisture in off the ocean. Winds could get over 30 mph today and tomorrow especially right along the coast so a small craft advisory is in effect for boaters with a dangerously high risk of rip current at the beaches. Drier air takes hold by Tuesday and Wednesday with mostly sunny skies, breezy, very pleasant weather. Rain chances could increase again by the end of the week so stay tuned for updates on that. Temperatures will be mild throughout the week with highs in the lower to middle 80s and overnight lows in the lower 70s with some 60s in the suburbs.
